Thank you for your interest in being a sponsor of the ILEA Greater Chicago Chapter! We offer sponsorship opportunities to businesses who want to gain exposure and recognition with members of our association and the special events industry community.
ILEA Greater Chicago recognizes sponsorship both in terms of one-time donations, as well as cumulative sponsorships. Our sponsorship benefits are offered in exchange for cash and/or in-kind donations necessary for the success of our events and activities. Your sponsorship participation at any level serves as an important resource which allows us to provide valuable programs and services to our members.
Cumulative sponsorship means that the value of donations made over the course of multiple events during the ILEA programming year (July 1 – June 30) by a single sponsor or sponsoring company will be added together to determine the sponsor’s recognized level of cumulative sponsorship benefits. Cumulative benefits will be awarded in the following year from the date of sponsorship.
Example: A sponsor who donates $10,000 of in-kind goods and services to a monthly program will be recognized at, and receive all of the benefits, both event specific and cumulative, of the Tier 3 Level of Sponsorship.
*Platinum Level in-kind sponsors have a limited exclusivity opportunity.

The International Live Events Association (ILEA) is a global community of thousands of creative event professionals whose skills, expertise, and experience power some of the most influential live events around the world.
ILEA is a community centered around celebrating all aspects of live event production and management. This enables our members to deliver the very best work to their clients through collaboration, thought-leadership, and idea sharing.
ILEA members include event planners/producers, caterers, meeting planners, decorators, audio-visual technicians, convention coordinators, entertainers, educators, journalists, photographers, hotel sales managers, and multiple service vendors.

ILEA Chicago members in good standing will have priority for sponsorship opportunities.

The International Live Events Association (ILEA) is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization. Donations are not tax deductible as a charitable expense; however, they can be deducted as an expense of doing business.

ILEA Greater Chicago recognizes both cash and in-kind sponsorships equally. In-kind sponsorships will be recognized at retail value, whereas $1 in-kind donation is equal to $1 of cash sponsorship. Cash and in-kind sponsorships can be made in tandem and will collectively add up to the total value of the sponsorship. In the case where a sponsor chooses to make a cash donation, the cash donation will equate to the above schedule.

To receive the full benefits of your sponsorship, the sponsor is responsible and required to submit all required logos and proper links by the deadline given as outlined in the Sponsorship Agreement Form. Provided the sponsor's logo is received in time for inclusion, as determined solely by the ILEA Greater Chicago Communications Committee, if not received on time, the logo will be included in future electronic invitations provided any remain.

Sponsor is responsible to provide the ILEA Greater Chicago Chapter with a contract/invoice with retail value proof of donation in order to receive sponsorship program benefits. In addition, sponsor must be up to date and in good membership standing to receive the benefits.
